Joel Galvin joined the H. Pearce Real Estate Company in 1989 after a career spanning over twenty years of owning and operating a major retail/construction business with locations in Orange, Westport and Old Saybrook, CT. Joel incorporates his many years of experience in sales, marketing and management to assist his clients in achieving their goals.

Joel specializes in the sales and leasing of Office, Industrial, Commercial and Investment properties in New Haven County and the Shoreline area. He also often acts as a Buyer/Tenant representative, assisting clients in their search for particular properties which will suit their needs. As a Buyer/Tenant rep, Joel has covered the state of Connecticut. Joel has been inducted into the Pearce Company's prestigious President's Circle and he is a consistent member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club.

Joel is a member of the Connecticut Association of Realtors® where he earned the designation of Graduate, Real Estate Institute. He is the immediate past President of the Commercial, Industrial Division of the New Haven Board of Realtors®. His activities include having been a member of the Professional Standards Committee, where he was chairman of several hearing panels; chairman of the By-laws committee and member of the Education Committee of the Shoreline Board of Realtors.

Joel has been a director of the Guilford Chamber of Commerce for nine years and is currently an Ambassador with the New Haven Chamber of Commerce. He was appointed chairman of the Guilford Economic Plan Study Committee where he played an instrumental role in Guilford's current positive outlook for planned economic growth and development.

Joel is a past president and active member of the Guilford Rotary Club and is president of the club's Memorial Educational Fund, Inc. He is also a member of Masonic Lodge # 125, New Haven, CT.
